Domain Name Station

If you're interested in buying or reserving a domain name or names, here are some services that can help you. Also, please see my hosting page -- many of the hosting services also offer domains in addition to or as part of their hosting packages. Also, if you hire me as your developer, I will be happy to help get you set up with domain name service and hosting.

Get the coolest domain! In 1999, Bloomingfun.com became an affiliate of The .tv Corporation and began running advertising for .tv domain names, which have become a popular alternative to .com. "Dot tv" at the end of your domain has a more interesting ring than plain old ".com", and there are still more domain names available with ".tv" than there are with ".com". So if www.yourcompany.com is not available -- or even if it is -- try changing the ".com" to ".tv". Plus, .tv, having become a part of Verisign Corporation, now offers .com, .net, .org, .info, and .biz names as well. Some suggested domain names that were recently found to be available are listed here. Click here to read about the million dollar domain name.

Check if your .tv name is available now!

www. .tv

Flash! the .tv Corporation has several 1,2, and 3 character domains featured, including seven out of ten one-digit numbers at $10,000 each. Visit the .tv Corporation and click "Premium Domains". You can also search by price range for cool premium names.

GoDaddy $1.99 Domains

How about giving me a discount on my domain??

Besides offering $1.99 domains with the purchase of other products (their webhosting is also a good deal, see my webhosting page), the regular price for domains at www.GoDaddy.com is $8.95, which is a buck cheaper than I'm getting right now at Domain Investigator. So while I still recommend The .tv Corporation for those hard to find domains, if you're still paying $20-$35 per year for your .com names, it may be time to switch to Go Daddy. I don't make a lot of money on this one, but I wanna honestly give you all your options!
